Kisqali & faslodex

been a member of Macmillan for a few years  but can’t really  find anything relevant to my situation so I thought I’ll start my own thread.

I’m stage iv with mets in my lungs.  Since I’ve been on Kisqali and Faslodex ( 1 year) my tumour markers are normal and the mets are not visible by Scans & MRI’s

I feel tired most of the time and suffer from headaches, my hair is thinking but have not lost hope that it will all fall eventually Sweat smile

I feel positive and at the same time frightened like many of us.  I’d like to share side effects and chat in general with someone in similar situation.

thank you x

  • Hi

I had a different type of cancer to you but I do recognise the feeling of being frightened at times.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also join and post in the secondary breast cancer group as there you'll connect directly with others who may have the same side effects as you. If this is something that you'd like to do clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.

    Wishing you all the best

    x
