I have had breast cancer twice now and both times list my hair. My cancer has spread and I am now terminal but coming to grips with hair getting very thin due to the meds I am on. I would prefer to lose it completely
So sorry about your recent diagnosis. When I was first diagnosed, I shaved my head (in fact I cut my hair off and donated it first). I felt great doing that, more in control of the situation and got a lot of compliments that the super short hair suited me. I'm lucky to be out the other side and my hair is growing again but still super short just now. I never would have had short hair without the cancer diagnosis and it feels quite empowering to have it. As Daisy53 says, is clipping it short something you could consider?
