    Hi there

I know what you're saying ..I ve been there 2 months ago , I was so scared confused and I felt the world just stopped ...it does but only for you and your close family which at times really shit , you feel like is not right this is happening to you and you re allowed to feel like that ! Get it out you system now be aude when you start your treatment you will need your energy there , if I can give u a tip don google stuff , trust me is the worst thing you can do to yourself . After a month of chemo I can tell you the best thing is take it day by day , it will be the hardest thing you LL have to do but it is manageable and you will get through it .

Mind me asking what s your diagnosis ? You ve been told you treatment plan yet ?

I found it difficult at beginning to chat on these forums but then I realized people here really understand what I m going through and you might hear tips to improve your side affect and coping mechanisms .

    Take care xx

  • It is so scary I was overwhelmed for days but once I decided after taking a ladies advice on here that the best thing to do is take one day at a time. Then you don’t get overwhelmed and just take tiHearte to breathe because it can be overwhelming. I was diagnosed on the 6th April and I’m in surgery Friday and then radiation treatment. I promise when you have your plan it does get easier and you canHeartbe calm and breast cancer is very treatable and we are all here for you. Be gentle with yourself and wishing you the best for all your treatment. Herbal tea by Twinings a moment of calm really helpsHeartme and pukka night time tea. Sending hugs Heart️LisaX

  • The early days are dreadful.  So much uncertainty etc but I promise you it will get better as your treatment plan is revealed and you realise it's not a death sentence.  Yes the treatment maybe challenging but it is treatable and you will get through it xx

Hi, I’m new to the group too. I was diagnosed only a couple of weeks ago after some micro calcifications showed up on my first routine mammogram. I’m in for surgery tomorrow; left boob mastectomy with reconstruction. I’m still in shock, too soon to know if I’ll need any other treatment. Talk of Tamoxifen but don’t really know yet.

this is my first ‘outing’ but I have been reading the chats over the last couple of weeks and you ladies on here are amazing! So helpful knowing there are lots of others going through similar journeys.

They found 2 areas in r breast, thought there might have been something in underarm too but that came back negative, they have scheduled me in for surgery on 26th may where they will perform a lumpectomy taking the 2 area's, the surrounding tissue, and a couple of the lymph nodes, may need radiation at some point, but they will decide that further down the line, Worried
