Hi. I got back from my first hospital breast screening a few hours ago - right breast contains a lot of abnormal hard tissue and lumps and it's spreading quickly. The hospital staff were so kind. Waiting for biopsy results. I was told it doesn't look good - it doesn't look good to me either. But what will be will be. I'm glad this forum is here - I've not told anyone yet.
Hi, Waiting is the hardest so hope they don't take too long for you. There are lots of super supportive people on here, for advice, for listening, for just when you want to shout......hope you're doing as ok as you can be right now, take care
Hi MoominAncestor, so sorry you find yourself in this situation. The only comfort I can offer you is that breast cancer is very treatable these days so even if this does turn out to be cancer it's very likely going to be treatable.
The waiting is very stressful and the hardest part of this journey. You will feel better once you know what you are facing and what your treatment plan is - should it prove to be cancer.
Really hope this turns out to be noting to worry about x
