had metaplastic triple negative breast cancer in 2019. Had wide local excision, FEC-T chemo and 5 rounds of radiotherapy for that. In January this year I had a PET/CT scan connected with endometrial cancer after not long having had a total abdominal hysterectomy. This scan was checking for spread of the womb cancer. On the scan it was shown I had thickened skin in my left breast and a standardised uptake value of 3.3 that was in the breast that had cancer in it. Worried the breast cancer may have come back.
Hi , just wanted to say hello back and welcome to the forum (or welcome back if you’ve been here before, I don’t recognise your name but with my addled brain that doesn’t mean much!). Sounds like you’ve got a ridiculous amount of stuff to deal with at the moment. I don’t know about the symptoms you mention being a recurrence of your breast cancer but hopefully someone else can shed more light on it. Must be so worrying though, and so soon after other major surgery. I hope you know soon whether this is a recurrence. Seems so unfair after all the other things you’ve had to contend with.
Sending love and a big virtual hug your way, HFxx
