Hi,
Had a regular mammogram and found tumour early November. This is my fourth cancer so know the routine but hate it nonetheless. I had a mastectomy last month with clear margins. 25mm tumour but Stage 1 cancer cell behaviour. Am receiving Herceptin, no chemotherapy (my choice) and Letrozole. Offered Ibandronic acid but too scared of hideous side effects. Just don't think my cancer worn heart and body is up to it. Also weighing up long term survival with quality of life left. 53 years old and already surpassed life expectations following a bone marrow transplant in 1988 for my first cancer T-Cell Lymphoma. On a plus note, had my first Covid vaccine! Cheers Claire
