Hi,
About 19 years ago my mum developed breast cancer. She was only 49, very attractive, smart and fun loving. She had a mastectomy and chemo and lost all of her hair and eyebrows. She was very strong and remained positive throughout, making jokes and doing her best to stop us worrying, but I know she found it hard. Thankfully, she made a full recovery, and is today a very fit and healthy 68 year old glamorous granny! As you will all no doubt understand, it impacted on all of us as a family, and is something which is always in my mind. For this reason I am keen to do something which will help and support people like my mum.
Thank you so much for reading, with love and care for all you are going through.
