Unfortunately my primary does not show up on , CT, MRI, Utra sound or Mammogram but was found by accident when I bumped into the edge of a door. My Consultant originally gave me five years but so far I have had six and a half. I had Anastrazole, Tamoxifen and Exemestine but they all stopped working after a year or so. I am now on Abemaciclib pills and. Fulvestrant injections four weekly in my bottom. The side affects of the Abemaciclib are awful but you can get used to anything. I am lucky to have it because NICE will not give it too me. Fortunately my new Consultant had it on special access until two days after my last other stopped working so I am incredibly lucky. Although I live north of Lincoln I asked to go to Nottingham at the outset. I am so glad I did, they have been wonderful and my four weekly visits to the hospital have been unaffected during Covid. I cannot thank them enough.
Hi
