Hello and welcome. So sorry your operation is delayed. Sadly I think blaming COVID is easy for them as they've been cancelling g operations for years. Hopefully you won't be very delayed as lots of people on this site still having their surgery xx
Welcome to the community, though sorry you have a need to be here. You must still be trying to process everything, and I'm so sorry to hear your operation was cancelled. As Grogg says, it isn't uncommon for surgeries to be cancelled even at the best of times, so hopefully they will re-schedule you shortly. Are you due to have any other treatment? chemo, radiotherapy or hormone treatment? Perhaps they will start you on something else while your op is rescheduled?
Waiting for information is the absolute worst - we'd normally all suggest distraction but that's harder at the moment too. You are more than welcome to distract yourself by reading and posting on here and we'll all support you as much as you need.
