Hello everyone.

I'm new here. I came across this site as over the past couple of days I've been researching breast cancer. Two odd Mark's have appeared on my right breast. (They arnt sore)

Once I noticed them I felt my boobs, I'm convinced i can feel a lump.

I'm 28 and sat here worrying and very scared.

Has anyone here been diagnosed because of markings on your breasts? Or could anyone help with descriptions. I plan on seeing my doctor asap.

Happy new year to you all

  • Hello and sorry you are feeling worried and stressed.  If you have concerns go see GP.  It's probably nothing but must be checked.  I went age 40 with a lump in armpit and referred to breast clinic but it was just a fat pad .  Age 51 no lumps but recalled from routine screening.  That was 5 years ago .  Only a health professional can give you a definite answer xx

  • Hi , sorry you find yourself here but fingers crossed you will be a short term member! I don’t know about the marks as a possible sign of cancer but I have had many referrals over the years for a variety of reasons. Breast issues come in many different forms and the vast majority are not cancer. BUT you definitely need to be checked out so do get that GP appointment asap. Some examples of not cancer: I was referred at age 21 (!) because my GP felt I had nodular breasts - the consultant was happy that they were just naturally nodular, whatever that actually is! Then in my 30s I had tearing pain in one breast whilst breastfeeding my son - another referral, diagnosed as duct ectasia. Had to give up feeding on that side but the other side carried on for a further 9 months. Fast forward to late 40s, pea sized lump deemed very suspicious but when chopped out revealed itself to be a fibroadenoma - benign. A few years later, cysts on the other side. Finally cancer at 59. Very treatable, just pop a daily pill now. Sorry for a long ramble, just wanted to share that I’ve had many scares, most benign.
Please do get checked, and let us know how you get on. Sending a big virtual hug your way, HFxx
