Hi
I am new here having had bc diagnosis in October and lumpectomy in December. To cut a long story short I had a 18 mm grade 3, er+ lump removed. The 2 nodes remover were negative. My Oncotype result has come back at 40. So I am waiting for an appointment ( the Christie Manchester) to discuss chemo. I can honestly say that at 56 I have never felt so anxious! Though I know I have to do it.
I hope to give and receive support from anyone out there in a similar position facing chemo in the new year.
Thanks
Hi and a very warm welcome to the forum. Lots of support and shared experiences here. In the section ‘Questions about Treatments’ there’s a monthly chemo thread and I think the January one has already begun. So I’m sure you’ll have lots of chemo buddies there.
Sending love and a big virtual hug your way, HFxx
