Hey, i am A 14 year survivor of breast cancer , here for a chat if anyone needs it :)
You're welcome. I finished chemo in June and still have neuropathy in both hands and feet, very unpleasant. I'm still on Phesgo injections every 3 weeks and even Phesgo might give these side effects so not entirely sure if it was only Paclitaxel. Following the lumpectomy and SLNB I had in July, as the margins weren't clear I'll have a re-excision next week. The oncologist swapped the Phesgo to Herceptin after the op but in terms of neuropathy I think it will be the same. Hopefully the new med I was prescribed, Amitriptyline will bring some relief. Good if you managed short walks. Hope you'll completely get rid of these side effects xx
Thats pretty good that you have 9 years since secondary, that is what scares me the most. I have health anxiety and i am at the doctors all the time!
