Having been through the process of mastectomy, hormone treatment, numerous scans and xrays, radiotherapy, waits etc over last 14 months I went to the oncology dept yesterday and was virtually signed off apart from 3 monthly bone infusions and 7 years hormone pills. Feel so blessed and fortunate at the age of 86 to have come through it with only a few more aches and pains. Wonderful treatment in Shropshire. I know a lot of you are having much worse experiences and I am thinking of you all the time but thought it might give a few of you a bit of hope to have a positive story. Thank you for all your support and keep going with hope in your hearts. xxx
