Update.

Lumpectomy/ sentinel node / reconstruction

Done the 29th oct.

Margins came back clear. 4cm removed. Inavasive ductal carcinoma was grade 3.

Estrogen receptors her 2 negative... after borderline dishes from biopsys I ashume. The end result was from after removal. Of her2 negative.

1 node positive out of 4... surgen seems positive he removed it all..

Doing chemo. 18 weeks (ec-t. ) 1x 21 days. Then axillary clearance an radiotherapy, hormone blockers 10 yrs an

Abemaciclib for 2 yrs ...

Spoken to ongolgist as there treating it as early bc. Stage 2... b I think...

I'm worried if on clearance it's found in my other nodes.. my 1st ct scan seemed OK an mh team was worried about 1 node which seems they was right.... I asked about my treatment if it is they just nds said well no difference just radiotherapy in the armpit too. Praying these are clear am on cycle 1 chemo. Monday just gone did cold cap shocking head ache few issues not much tbh. know it gets worse as time goes on. I beleive. But worried about this scan is throax normal scan ... is it the same as my ioden scan I had was shoulder to hip. Or is this diffrent if so why. ? . X

Hiya I had a thorax scan with contrast? Is that what your having? If so I will tell you now you will feel like you have wet yourself but you won’t have it’s just how it makes you feel! They pre-warmed me about it before hand luckily but it did happen so I wasn’t worried. It’s really weird. I think it’s scans you from neck to pelvis? I’ve gotta have an another one soon to check mine not changed as I had a few nodules appear on lungs so they said they would repeat every 3 months to keep an eye. I’m same as you with everything but grade 2 haven’t been told a stage yet. Waiting for a chemo date now as 5 out of 7 of my nodes were bad from the mastectomy.
if you have any questions feel free. You seem to be further on with journey than me so I may be picking your brain when I get my chemo cycle it’s so scary isn’t it. Sending you hugs x

originally at the start I had ct scan with contrast.

This time was throax scan without contrast. I went fri its scarey waiting on results an not knowing anything feel like the throax only went to my my rib area but not sure what they see from. There side.

No contrast this time, yes chemo statted a week ago. Cycle 1 done few hick ups but over all not as bad as I thought. Aches an pains in bones ... did have high markers for infection was given antibiotics 2 days after yet I felt ok i can currently eat ok. I seemed to dip after the injections started the night after. head aches ... but i tried cold cap. So not sure if that was that ... over all not to bad constipation. But got movicol. And little tired pale but ok. Over all... i keep worrying about my bones I've complained so much about them these past few mths but seems to be dismissed... xx

It’s all such a worry isn’t it? Worrying about side effects and what’s next etc glad your first cycle is done and dusted you are on the count down now to recovery! I can’t wait to get mine started though I’m dreading it I just wanna get it over with so I can carry on with my life. This year is going to be shit for sure but hopefully in 6 months won’t have long left only the hormone tablets! I’m not sure if my hosp offers the cold cap yet I’m waiting for appt to come so I can get more info I’ve tried to call them about 10 times today and got voicemail keep me updated with your next cycle hope it goes smoothly for you x
