Hello New2this , I had rads last July and the tight feeling over the whole area had worried me. I guess that’s what you’re feeling?
I had a problem years before with that shoulder and had worked hard at regaining full movement after the surgery I needed then. So to have movement limitation after radiotherapy was frustrating. I’ve had a couple of sessions with our cancer units physiotherapist, who have me some stretches to do. They’ve reassured me that my movement is not bad at all, it’s purely the tightness of the effect from rads which the stretches have helped to ease a little.
Keep doing those shoulder exercises regularly anyway as they will help too.
Hugs xxx
Moomy
I to had extreme pain in arm months after radio ,had a scan and put on painkillers which didn't touch it .5 months later pain stopped, really odd i think its our bodies adjusting to radio as i was fine after my two ops and pain didn't kick in until months after radiotherapy.kind regards
