Areola sore to rub

Hi I am looking advice before I attend my GP.

For 7 days just below my areola thr skin is sore to rub if I stroke my finger across. There is no change in areola,or skin or breasts,no lumps, swelling etc.

I am a worrier and wondering is this something to be worried about or could it just be a reaction to clothing etc

    • Hi kez22 welcome to the forum. I am so sorry to hear how worried that you are. Did you have radiotherapy to the breast area ? The reason I'm asking is because this area of the breast can be tender for some time after treatment finishes.  However, if it helps to offer some reassurance for you then please do consider checking this out with your GP.
