I tried sage for a bit and it made no difference. There are also different varieties and don't think all of them are safe for BC.
Best thing I have done is get a really good fan for the bedroom. Mine has a remote control and timer so when I go to sleep I put it on a time for an hour or so and when I wake in the night, I turn it on and put the timer on again.
It's made a massive difference to me as I found it so hard cooling down with night sweats and then I just couldn't get back to sleep because I was too hot.
