Had a lumpectomy and removal of sentinel nodes 2 months ago.All went well and no cancer found in the sentinel nodes. Had a routine blood test in August and had to have a repeat test last week which shows my platelet count has continued to rise.At the moment have been asked to speak to the doctor about this .Has anyone else had this problem
Hi Janner welcome to the forum. I think this can be something that happens after surgery. However, it may be that there is an underlying health condition causing that, hence the request for speaking to the Doctor. If its a simple blood test then that can check and be available for your Dr when you see them. As its one I've not encountered before I'd be interested to see how you get on. Best wishes.
