I have neuropathy in my legs from chemo. Treatment finished almost 2 years ago does it ever go away?
Hi Grannyx
I am almost 2 years post treatment for endometrial cancer. I had carboplatin and paclitaxel chemo.
I still have neuropathy- legs, feet and hands.
I contacted GP and was offered amitriptyline for the pain but it does not help with the numbness and altered sensations. I have recently had a physiotherapy assessment and been given some exercises to help.
Its worth contacting GP and also perhaps physio. They may not be able to completely cure it but there are things that may help.
