Flying after cancer treatment

Hello!

I had a mastectomy in November, I finished chemo at the beginning of May and I will finish radiotherapy at the end of June. 

Does anyone know the guidance on flying? When can I go on holiday and is there a maximum length of flying recommended?

  • Hi, I spoke to my oncologist and she was supportive of me taking a long haul to Florida about a month after my radiotherapy finished.  Might be an idea to speak to your medical team in case there is anything specific for you. Best wishes
