Can they make you really tired and dizzy. 1 round will be finished Thursday for a week off.
Hello Cookie1991 I have just read your post and noticed you have not received any replies. I can't reply in full myself as I have another cancer and Capecitabine isn't something that is used by members of our forum. (strange though I think I have come across this before some where!)
However by me replying your post will be "bumped" back to the top of the forum and should be noticed by other forum members and I hope you receive a reply.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi there! Having never heard if it and noting no one has as yet responded (except Millibob) I had to Google this drug! Like all drugs, they have side effects and clearly drowsiness, lethargy, diarrhoea, nausea, hair loss, are just a few of the pleasures listed! Great eh?! My chemo treatment had 26 side effects listed and I can proudly say, I had 30!! It was hard work for a while but have come out the other side as you will too. I wish you well in this journey..best wishes xx
Hi . Wow thanks for your reply - I hang around on the Prostate Cancer forum and the main treatment us blokes get is Hormone Therapy (they reduce our Testosterone which feeds the cancer - in a nutshell). We get side effects - I have a nice pair of boobs (thanks NHS), ED (don't ask!) Hot Flushes, lack of hair - I can cry for England etc - but 30!!! You take the prize!!
I hope you are doing OK - Your post made me laugh!!
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Brian! I spend my life laughing in the face of adversity!! When I was given the ‘all clear’ by my oncologist, he said “You will need to take these tablets for the next 8 years”! I replied “Blimey! I’ll be 40 by then!” I saw him look at his notes and then look at me..closely. I am 69! We both laughed and I realised then he wasn’t quite as staid and serious as he portrayed! I’m sorry you’re going through it as well but know you’re in great company! We’re tough!
