Hi there,

I have just had my midway ultrasound after 4 cycles of Docetaxol. I have multi focal HER2+ and ER+ .
The radiographer could only find the clips that were initially inserted but no cancer surrounding them which I was over the moon with, she did, however find something different when comparing to my original ultrasound in a different area and suggested a Contrast Mammogram

Has anybody else had this ? It’s another waiting game ……

  • Hi Rosebud, I've not had this myself, but I just wanted to acknowledge your post.  Great news that the ultrasound didn’t¡t find any cancer now, but I understand your concern about possibly something else. The waiting, as we all know, is the hardest thing. Hopefully this is nothing to worry about for you and that you get the mammogram soon,  Best wishes

  • That's good news, hopefully it's nothing, I had my ultrasound Friday and she could find the clip at first she had to look at previous scans and also couldn't see no sign of cancer, she did say doesn't mean there isn't any microscopic traces that can't be seen on scan, just waiting on surgery now and start hormone tablets and still have phesgo until late next year.
