Feeling very tired and overwhelmed  since my last hospital appointment, which was last week. Depending on which of the local hospitals they decide its best for me to have my surgery in I could be having my surgery before the end of the year. The pace everything is moving at is leaving me playing emotional catch up.

  • My heart goes out to you at such a busy time and with children to think abt. Just make a to do  list . Then cancel everything that someone else cld do or it doesn't matter if it gets sorted next year. Your only real essentials are eating, sleeping, quality time with your children.thats it. You've got this!  You are superwoman and will get through this.time will fly by.wishing you all the best. Xxxv louPatrick

  • I was diagnosed this time last year and had surgery on 21st december. It was actually a good time to have it. Christmas is a time with its own routine. I shared out the list of to dos with family. It is also a time when other people have time of work so they can help and support you. Take care of yourself - put yourself first for once. XX

  •      My appointments are all medical ones that I can't cancel or DWP appointments of  my oldest I'm his Appointee so I have to attend & he needs the support. A lot of them have been either breast cancer related or my dressing changes for my leg Ulcers.

  •                                                 I don't really have any support I can rely on other than my kids (who don't currently work) anyway. Outside them there is only my dad who prioritized one of his frequent camping trips over helping with my oldest's operation in hospital & his hyper critical nature is bad for my mental health.
