Well I’ve been on my journey since end Jan this year, diagnosed Feb and March. Surgery bilateral lumpectomies which were hormone dependent,followed by radiotherapy and then on vit d and calcium tab as well as Alendronic acid tab as I now have start of osteoporosis and of course letrozole tabs which I’ve been on since august.
I had to stop HRT - everol sequi patches after 18 years so obv been thrown back into menopause at 60. I started peri at mid 30s, menopause at 40…
Ive had the aching joints, hot flushes, night sweats,vaginal antrophy and omg the sleeplessness is dreadful. So anxiety is heightened as well and after almost 3 months on letrozole I feel that my hair is shedding more than usual even though my hairdresser says it’s fine
Has anyone else noticed any of these symptoms esp hair and sleeplessness and have you been able to take any supplements?
I’ve been told by breast care nurse that I couldn’t take any sage etc as they contain photo-oestrogen
Im waiting to speak to oncologist end of month

Hi, sorry you're having these symptoms, it's all a bit grim isn't it. Luckily my side effects aren't too bad, but I do hear that people have different reactions to different brands of letrozole so wondered if you've considered that. I would recommend talking to your oncologist, so hopefully not long until your appointment. Best wishe
