HRT

I was referred to a specialist September 2022, to see if I could have HRT with my history of blood clots. Appointment has come through for Nov 18th, so that will be my question now I can't take it due to BC. I'll let you know what I find out. Currently taking citalopram for hot flushes.

Hi Ladies and welcome to the forum. HRT is usually stopped immediately when Breast Cancer is diagnosed especially if it it Hormone receptive so giving you more hormones via HRT  would feed the breast cancer, hence why they stop it if that makes sense. That said the information is changing all the time so worth asking as  the worst  they can say is  no. xxx
