Hello I have developed cellulitis 2 weeks after my second lumpectomy. Have to say feel really unwell. Yesterday I had a temp of 39.7 plus shivers and uncontrollable shaking.it all happened really quickly. My fabulous GP put me on double strength antibiotics straightaway. Temp down to 38.7 but hurt all over . My under arm area has become very sore today. I had a sentinel node biopsy at.my first lumpectomy. Has anyone else had this problem . Did it resolve quickly ,,thank you

Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear that you had breast cancer. While I didn't develop cellulitis after my surgery I did have an infection three weeks after my second surgery. It lasted about 2 weeks.
