Hi fellow club members. If you have been prescribed Abemaciclib can you pass on your experiences with it. I have finished chemo and now radiotherapy, I am already on letrozole as chemo had to be stopped after the EC sessions as it affected my lungs badly and wasn't breathing properly. So my oncologist put me straight on Letrozole. Any information on the Abemaciclib would be great thanks ladies . Love to all ️

Hello I have been on Abemaciclib for 18 months, I had a few issues in the beginning with diarrhoea so they reduced my dose to 100mg twice a day and I have been so much better. I am also on letrazole.

Hi, I was on the Abemaciclib Monarch E trial for 2yrs before it was approved for prescribing. I had no major problems with it, not even the diarrhoea that does affect some. Most of the treatment side effects I have are from 5yrs of Anastrazole.

Hi, how long have you been on abemaciclib? Have to say I am concerned about the diahorrea. Brave of you to do the trials! Xx

Hi Musicmumma

I have been on Abemaciclib for 9 months and besides some mild tummy issues which have settled more over time and I have been able to manage with timing of eating I have been fine. I am managing to work full time etc. I remain on the max dose of 150mg twice daily.
