i have had 18 infusions of Herceptin and the second to last one has impaired my heart and am now on a pull called Ramipril . The side effect is a nasty cough and I am very itchy. Has anyone else experienced this ? thsnkspink Betty
Hi there! I too am on RAMIPRIL since having chemo etc. due to high Blood Pressure, no idea which drug was the cause however no side effects for me a year on. My mother was on RAMIPRIL due to heart issue (she does not have cancer) and it took her BP way down within a week so was immediately taken off them and into something else. It might pay to buy a BP monitor and check your BP regularly. Obviously any unexplained side effects report to your breast team. You’re under their jurisdiction for 5 yrs. I wish you well xx
Hi I’m on ramipril it was prescribed because of onset of type 2 diabetic to keep Blood pressure steady . Years before BC no side effects .I would agree report you cough etc to your team .best wishes
