Hi, I was wondering if anyone who has had an implant reconstruction after mastectomy has had any issues following chemotherapy. My implant had settled really well with no pain but I had my first round of chemo 2 weeks ago and now it's uncomfortable in my chest. I'm having Docetaxel and Carboplatin every 3 weeks for 6 cycles. I was aware that radiotherapy can effect implants but hadn't heard about chemo.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has had chemotherapy after implants. Thank you
