Hi ECD77
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you are waiting a confirmation of breast cancer. It might be nothing but if it turns out to be cancer know that breast cancer is very treatable. As regards your new job if it does turn out to be breast cancer then you are considered a person with a disability so the Headmistress of your new school can’t withdraw the job off as you are protected by employment law.
Wishing you the best of luck with your results.
Best wishes

Hi, I had “calcifications” show up on a mammogram. If it is just this, it’s called DCIS and appears in a milk duct. My dcis had broken out of the duct in two places and so was classed as invasive.
Apparently though, calcifications can appear as you age and especially after the menopause. It is when they clump together that it sets off the alarm bells for the doctors.
Keep positive and fingers crossed for you that all is well.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
