I'm ER neg/HER2 pos and everything is moving at pace. I know I shouldn't be antsy about the pace but it really is a load isn't it?

I start with 4 months of chemo, targeted HER2 injections at the same time (and for 14 months after), surgery and then radio therapy.

Hats off to you all for your bravery

  • It all seems so unreal I was diagnosed 28.02.23. Then I seemed to be On a merrygoround which I haven’t got off yet.

firstly surgery, then oncogene testing when I found 1 lymph node positive, then 15% chance of reoccurrence, so chemotherapy put into the mix.

I have just listened to every thing and decided to go along with the flow.

had my first chemotherapy last Friday, not so bad.

best thing is to keep busy,

still walking my lovely dog, meeting my friends, and trying to get into the swing of my new normal.

I still think that I will wake up one day and it is all a bad dream.

the nights are the worst when my mind goes into overdrive.

    good luck

  • I was diagnosed on 22nd of this month, grade 3 invasive ductual breast cancer, oestrogen positive and HER 2 positive, have gone into some lymph nodes, alot going on in short space with appointments, 3 days after I had ct scan, Wednesday was oncology and had bloods and ecg, today I have bloods and mrsa swab, Tuesday telephone appointment then oncology again and picc line fitted all same day, Wednesday mri scan and then start ec-t chemotherapy the following Tuesday and 2 days after echo to be done, I also will have Trastuzumab and Pertuzumab injunctions then surgery and radiotherapy. Can't fault how quick they have moved.

    Good luck with everything.

  • Hugging straight back. Not sure what we'd do without those dogs Blush

  • That is fast indeed. We gotta do this day by day. Bite sized chunks.
