Hello, I’ve been taking a high strength tablet for aches n pains in joints. I’ve been on Letrazole and now Anastrazole. I seem to have good days but some days I’m so stiff everywhere I can barely move. I garden, walk dog and just back to Pilates after my last surgery. I’m thinking of going back to oncologist to get help. Not sure if I can bare another 21/2 years of this. I end up taking neurofen every day - any one out there???
Hello Jgau
I am sorry to hear that you are getting so much pain and stiffness in your joints due to your cancer treatment.
I do think going back to your oncologist or your CNS is a good idea- especially with having to take nurofen everyday and it being planned to continue the medication for another 2 1/2 years. It sounds really unpleasant.
I think also with any supplements such as turmeric/curcumin, although they may well help it is best to run it by your team in case it is known to cause any problems with your existing medication. You could also ask for advice from the nurses on here, who may have other suggestions.

Hope this may help a bit and I hope that they can get the aches/pains/stiffness sorted for you.

yes, I understand. I just remember being asked by my nurses before chemo if I was taking any supplements so just erring on the side of caution. I think if it is safe then anything is worth a try
