Hello all
quick refresh. I found a lump Sunday evening. Called nhs 111 for some advice who wanted me to go to the drs on Tuesday (damn those bank holidays).
I got an appointment Tuesday where the dr confirmed the lump and has put me through for an urgent referral. She said this was to be cautious but that doesn’t stop the worry does it :( anyways, it’s been a ride. The first 2 days were complete despair. Then I was quite positive. Now I’m just numb. Since I found the lump, my breast has gotten a lot bigger. It’s like 2 breasts from 2 different bodies.
I’ve told my mum, dad, sister, manager and a few close friends after the dr confirmed the lump. my husband knew within half hour of me finding the lump.
What’s going to be a challenge is that my children have been away camping this week and I’m picking them up soon. I hope I can stay strong for them. Which sounds stupid because it may not even be anything yet.
