Lymph node infection &letrozole

No infection for me after 5 nodes removed (1 cancerous) but on going to GP about something else she thought I had lymphoedema as I have a wide bruised looking scar under arm and under the removed breast and it’s v tight to move arm in spite of exercise. I’m also on letrozole but GP has made me an appointment with lymph clinic next month.  NEVER stop complaining if something doesn’t feel right. We’re on our own after treatment ends! Glad you’ve found a drug that’s good for you xxx

Thanks for replying  I do have like a sore wide line from lymp node removal down under my breast taking antibiotics for a week now and still there and sore what a nightmare you think after chemo surgery radiotherapy and heart damage from chemo and countless ct scans needles you'd be sorted still more herceptin which is what's damaged my heart which I've got to get the heart fraction up from 39 it was 71 before treatment then bone infusions twice a year our poor bodies phew well get there us women are strong good luck with your treatment too xx

We've received poisons you wouldn't give your worst enemy! But, all to the good. Sorry re your heart ussye. Mine was raised during chemo and because of it am now permanently on Ramipril tablets..but at least we're here!Thank God for the NHS! Best wishes xx
