Well, after a long road, ongoing since last year, got my final Herceptin treatment on Friday. Just 4 years of Anastrazole to carry on with. Grateful for what's been done for me, however, lost my hubby Graham suddenly and unexpectedly last June, 3 days after my last chemotherapy. Why did this have to happen? Should have taken me instead. Just miss him so much, life alone at age 64 is just horrid
Bless you GANDER , I’m 18 months after losing hubs, it’s tough and you get times when it really hurts. And when it hits you it still hurts like the dickens, but you sort of get more used to it as time goes on.
Those next years on Anastrozold will go, honestly (I’m starting my last 10 days of Tamoxifen tomorrow! That’s 5 years done.I started on Letrozole but swapped after 3 years as Tamoxifen is kinder to bones and I already had osteoporosis)
Empathetic hugs xxx
