Minor in the greater scheme of things we (and many) have all endured, but after avoiding ‘the other ‘c’ since it arrived the world, I’ve eventually succumbed. Firstly, seriously my first symptom was severe earache, so just to flag that up in case it helps anyone in any way…. those little spikey ball gremlins seemingly got into me via my ears -lol. Thereafter they’ve been having a serious ‘party’ inside me, no bit of me has seemingly been left unexplored. Thankfully my immune system (aka the bouncer) is managing to keep the party under control and hopefully the stragglers will be kicked-out shortly. No idea the name of the ‘strain’ I have, but per NHS it tends to go one of two ways- it either makes your respiratory-system ‘party-central’, or instead your gastro system becomes ‘Ibiza - rock n roll on speed’. I think it’s fair to say I am presently ‘ Ibiza’. It’s impossible to eat anything with any realistic prospect of it taking a leisurely journey from A to Z. I’m assured by NHS to not be overly alarmed about this just so long as I keep fluids going through my system. It’s remarkable that although I’ve not had solid food for 5 days and have zero appetite, yes as long as you keep the liquids going in, you seem to be (kinda) ok. The weirdest thing for me is that rather than expecting to be asleep for much of the day/night in these circumstances I’m actually unable to ‘konk-out’ - I figure my body is running on ‘Code Red’. Whole experience very bizarre. Covid is weird and scary.
Hey seaspirit44, how are you managing with your liver and hepatitis?. I just need someone to talk to I know this was written a while ago
Hey Ajmal how are you doing? It was 2separate illnesses, hepatitis A followed by covid. Then 2 months later campylobacter from swimming in polluted sea, on holiday.I was very ill, and it ruined the holiday. Took me ages to recover from that lot, it am OK now. The Covid was the least problematic. xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hey seaspirit hope you are well! I am okay just worried about my dad who suffers from Hep B and they said they noticed some lesions and spots and have said that. I just needed somebody to talk to.
