  • Hi  and a warm welcome to the forum. Sorry you find yourself here, hopefully you’ll find it a great place for support and shared experiences.
I think many of us have imagined all sorts of horrible scenarios at your stage. It’s really tortuous waiting for tests and results. Somehow it’s all easier to manage once you have a definite diagnosis and a plan for treatment. During the ‘limbo’ time I know that I felt that every twinge, ache, pain must be a sure sign that the cancer was everywhere. It was such a relief to know what I was dealing with and to have dates for surgery, then results, then oncologist appointment, then radiotherapy. Of course everyone’s plan is different and specific to their particular case.
Good luck with it all, keep posting to update us, ask questions or just to ‘let it out’!
Sending love and a big virtual hug, HFxx

Hi Annette, it probably doesn't help to say “you’re not alone” but you’re NOT! From confirmed diagnosis look to the positives. It’s good to know youre ‘only’ stage 2 and the treatments we all receive whether it be lumpectomy, mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy and all the drugs, injections, biopsy’s, scans etc that go with it, it’s all aimed at reducing the spread! Try to stay as positive as you can and keep occupied! Only have people around you who don’t bring you down with their stories and know that you’re being well looked after. I wish you well xxx
