Pain in breast where cancer was removed. Is this normal as it has only started after three months after operation. On Letrozole
Letrozole is giving me loads of issues so have referred to macmillan navigators. Pain in bones in chest area/stiff neck/arm ache, etc plus the worst, my eyesight has deteriorated and Ive only been on letrozole for 4 months and was told this doesn’t happen for some people till they’ve been on it for years! Hence, had to make appointment with eye specialist at hospital. We were well until we started treatment! Haha! I really wish you well. Report to your oncology dept/macmillan navigators for reassurance but it’s not uncommon… x
Thank you. Will contact my cancer nurse. Kind regards
My mastectomy scar area, underarm and shoulder are all painful but I do t know what is radio after effect and what is Letrozole….
Radio is radiotherapy which can leave you sore and Letrozole and Tamoxifen are long term drugs that may be given to you after all treatments are finished (ie chemo and radio) to help keep C at bay. I’ve been issued with Letrozole tablets daily until 2030!. Best wishes xx
Letrozole is the medication I’ve been advised to take for five years. Very bad side affects. Trying Letrozole made by a different manufacturer to see if it makes a difference. As advised be cancer nurse. Hopefully it will make a difference. Thank you
Will continue for a while. Thank you for your response.
