So it’s been a year since diagnosed with stage 3 invasive duct breast cancer, I’ve finished all treatment expect infusions every 6 months but the lump where I had my lumpectomy still hurts or I’ve noticed it more, is it just me as it’s a year worrying as I’ve not had my mammogram yet. Am I just being paranoid? Did anyone else get like this?
Hi there! Similar situation to you, Stage 3, mastectomy Feb last yr, followed by chemo and RT. Wondered when 1st mastectomy was going to be (should have been Feb this yr) then got a call out of the blue, beginning March, so had mine done. Just a mere 3 week wait now! My ribs and under arm ache/hurt all the time but I’m putting up with it and exercising when I can be bothered. It could be the long term tabs Letrozole which I’ve been in for 4 mths causing issue but I will mention to macmillan navigators in due course. Macmillan navigators are a call away, have your hospital number ready if/when you make a call.
