Tiedness

These past couple of days I've been feeling as exhausted as when I had cancer. I had to cancel my shift at work. I was only doing 1x6hr shift per week. I've had to change it to 1x6hr per fortnight.

I only started back 2 weeks ago.

I had a mastectomy June last year & started feeling better after a couple of weeks.

This may sound crazy, but my cat has started following me around & last night she curled up on my bed at my midriff. She hasn't done that since the op. The crazy things that bother you Sweat smile

  • Hi Poppies, it does not seem crazy, I have read books on how cats can sense things, is your cat also purring loader?.  As you have been fine and have started feeling tired, I would get in contact with your breast care nurse and discuss how you are feeling and if you have any discomfort or pain, it might be worth getting checked out.

    Take care x

  • Hi Poppies.  Sorry to hear this.  I had mastectomy in Oct last year and I'm still very tired.  I'm told it's due to medication - Anastrozole!

  • Thankyou Tilly

I've been thinking of contacting breast care nurse. You have confirmed for me I need to do this.

Cat doesn't seem to be purring loder, but she is following me around a lot more just recently.

    Glad I'm not going gaga.

I'll call the nurse on Monday.

    Thankyou again

  • Hi PMA.

The tiredness can be debilitating can't it.

I've been feeling fine up until this past week. I seem to be feeling as tired as before op. Not being able to walk very far. I even had my so carry the basket around shop the other day & carry the bag from the car. I just didn't have the energy to carry them.

I'm going to call my breast care nurse on Monday. See what she says.

Hope all goes well for you & you continue to improve.
