Hi there

I’ve I’ve been taking letrozole for eight weeks. As with others, I have a very aching, joints, bloating, nausea, difficulty sleeping, tiredness, blotchy, thirsty dry skin, headaches, and dreadful brain fog.

I already take some vitamins and supplements. But wondered if anybody could recommend what I can take to minimise the symptoms. I know I cannot take anything like black cohlsh  but was wondering about collagen or biotin to support my skin and hair which is thinning. I take vitamin D, magnesium, cold liver oil and a multi vitamin but want to give my skin the best help as well as my bloody brain!!

I start radiotherapy next week so am bizarrely looking for see to it - just feel like I’ve been in limbo since my operation. Thanks for taking the time to read this HeartHeart

  • Can’t help with the Letrozole but can say good luck with the radiotherapy.
it’s another job off the list ! And it’s pain free and they look after you so well.

    xx

  • I was told the symptoms associated with Letrozole get better after 6 months and it was true for me..Others have found that different brands have different degrees of side effects.

You could also try changing the time of day you take it. I took mine at night at first and couldn’t sleep so now I take it in the morning and it’s much better.

Exercise helps with my stiffness. I walk about four miles every morning with my dogs and that seem to loosen me up.

Try typing Letrozole in the search bar as there are lots of previous threads with hints and tips from other people

    Take care x
