Secondary breast cancer in bones

So sorry to hear that, it’s what we all dread hearing.  You must be reeling.  I know there is a secondary breast cancer thread and others on here may know more about treatment x

I live on my own with my wonderful wee dog.

I have family close enough at home .

Remember there is a McMillan helpline as well, I’ve called them when I had questions.  There is also an awake thread, with regulars talking into the night.  I try to not think too far ahead as there are to many unknowns, but I know it’s hard waiting for results, plans and appts.  Glad you have your dog, pets are a real comfort x 

Yes I've used the helpline a couple of times .

I am taking it a stage at a time the scan first.

I can't think too far ahead.

It's too overwhelming at the moment. 

So sorry to hear this has happened to you. I hope you have good support around you. I had chemo with a lovely lady who has had stage 4 breast cancer with spine mets for 5 years. She worked still and was leading a good quality of life. I know every case is different and we can’t pre empt results but hopefully that gives you some hope. Lots of love to you x

I had stage 2 Lobular cancer in two areas of breast so had a mastectomy last Year in March.

I had lobular breast in 2 areas of breast.

Told I was a hight risk of it coming back somewhere else0.

Which it has and very quickly.

The hardest bit now is waiting for your results and treatment as you already know. It’s just crap, there’s no two ways about it, I do feel for you x
