Bone scan at 10:00 and appointment with doc at 15:00 at another hospital

Hi …. Are you ok? Have you had your appointments now?

Yup, all good.  Thanks for asking. Never had a bone scan before and freaked out when I realised the times.

Did you cope ok, Brian69 ? Was it a Dexa scan (like an X-ray) or a nuclear one? 

I was thinking of you and hoping all went ok.

Did good I thought. Not too worried about the tests tbh, it’s the results that are driving me nuts. The bone scan was a nuclear one so I had to wait 3 hours for the contrast thing to work. More stuff now. Still in the start n it seems endless.

 Dollydimple Thanks! Things went well and I was on time for the second appointment. Results should be in one -fingers crossed- or two weeks. Really hoping for one.

Yes, waiting for results is always horrid, hope you can keep your mind off with lots of activity, Brian69 ! And yes, that 3 hours wait is a pain, I remember it!

I’m still working and that helps. Apart from mild shoulder pain I’m fine. That’s 8 hours of my day talking to customers and serving food so… think about it less. Colleagues have been helpful with the lifting bits. I’ve told my manager n some friends, the rest think I have back issues…
