I had surgery for small low grade tumour on right breast 3 months ago. Then 5 sessions of radiotherapy which finished on 20 December. So 5 weeks after radio has ended I still have a bad smell from my right armpit. Even after washing the smell is still there. Should I be worried? Is this normal?
Hi, I had the most awful smell during and after my radiotherapy, 15 sessions, no amount of washing etc helped. I was told it was down to surgery & then radiotherapy disrupting the glands in my armpit. (lymph node removal & mastectomy)
It's so horrible & feel for you, the smell did go but it took a while. Hope yours rights itself too.
Best wishes x
