Hello,
I've been combing the internet looking for information about helpful supplements, and I'm left more confused than ever. It's a saturday, so I can't ask my bcn. I read that Evening Primrose oil can make tamoxifen more effective and help some of the annoying symptoms that tamoxifen can bring. Starflower oil is also meant to be good.
The problem seems to be if the oil contains phytoestrogens. I don't know enough to identify if these are on the ingredients list!
I've also read that Vitamin E is useful. At the moment I'm taking B12 for neuropathy, along with Magnesium and calcium supplements.
Can anyone tell me their experiences and if it's a good thing to try?
I read that vitB12, C, and E supplements are not a good idea over normal healthy diet, but I'd double check that! CBD is OK but no trials etc, but some swear by it for menopausal symptoms like hotflushes and mood changes for example. Vit D is associated with better outcomes. I suspect that healthy eating, within reason, and exercise are as beneficial as anything we can do to help ourselves. I hope you are making a good recovery
