Hi
i wondered if anyone has used a medical practitioner to administer high dose vitamin C who is also based in the midlands?
many thanks
There is no evidence at all to suggest these IV’s work and plenty of examples of people being made ill by them. IV’s can also introduce infections into the body and should not be used outside of medical settings. Be even more cautious about this if you are on chemo currently. This is a fad that I was told, by a doctor, is totally pointless. At its best, if you take high dose anything you just loose the extra ‘dose’ your body doesn’t need through the body’s waste processes, but at its worst could make you seriously ill. You will not find any reputable medical sites recommending these drips. Take a normal vitamin supplement if you feel it will help. All the best xx
