Hello
I am currently half way through chemo and am planning a week long holiday when I finish. I plan to take a short flight with hand luggage - trying to keep cost down!!
i have a left sided prosthesis and my breast care nurse told me that it is important to keep it in the box when not wearing so it doesn’t loose shape, I have been trying to find a travel case as the box is extremely bulky, but have had no luck. Have looked at many sites on the internet including the producer of the prosthesis
any tips on where to get one or travelling with a prosthesis are very welcome
Best wishes all
Hi Balky. I’ve travelled long haul with my foob ( false boob) but I just wore it my pocketed bra. I didn’t take any case with me, as you say it’s too bulky, and when not wearing it I just nestled it in clothing. I always take a knitted knocker with me as it’s lighter and cooler to wear if in hot climes.
Best wishes finishing chemo and have a great holiday afterwards.
Xx

When I got mine the nurse said on holiday it’s fine to just hang it in a bra and leave the case at home.
