  • Hi   I Hope you've managed to get some rest. When I found it hard to sleep I used some mindfulness apps to help me with breathing exercises. It's not for everyone but it might work. Best wishes.

    Bless you…take it slowly xxx

  • Hello

i had bilateral mastectomy & reconstruction using thigh tissue in March. I too struggled with sleep, I asked for sleeping tabs, which would help me get to sleep, but after a few hours wore off. But at least it gave me some sleep.

it did improve after a few weeks.

good luck and hope you find something to help. X

  • Hi, well done you, take it easy, rest even if you can’t sleep, anaesthetics mess your system up quite a bit, please don’t worry about the lack of  sleep, that’s actually counter-intuitive! (Who am I to say this?!?!? I’m the worlds worst!) it will come in its own time. Just do the exercises you’ve been given, and be kind to yourself!

    Sending gentle hugs xxx

  • I’ve been using some Yoda Nidra, it’s basically yogic sleep.   Lots on YouTube.   Even if you can’t find sleep with them, it’s very relaxing.
