with reconstruction from my own fat. I thought I’d be sleeping all the time but am unable to sleep at all (been back 36 hours)
not worrying really but can’t concentrate on reading or tv . Any tips and sending love to those of you in the same leaky boat xxx
Hi Ruby1 I Hope you've managed to get some rest. When I found it hard to sleep I used some mindfulness apps to help me with breathing exercises. It's not for everyone but it might work. Best wishes.
Hello
i had bilateral mastectomy & reconstruction using thigh tissue in March. I too struggled with sleep, I asked for sleeping tabs, which would help me get to sleep, but after a few hours wore off. But at least it gave me some sleep.
it did improve after a few weeks.
good luck and hope you find something to help. X
Hi, well done you, take it easy, rest even if you can’t sleep, anaesthetics mess your system up quite a bit, please don’t worry about the lack of sleep, that’s actually counter-intuitive! (Who am I to say this?!?!? I’m the worlds worst!) it will come in its own time. Just do the exercises you’ve been given, and be kind to yourself!
Sending gentle hugs xxx

I’ve been using some Yoda Nidra, it’s basically yogic sleep. Lots on YouTube. Even if you can’t find sleep with them, it’s very relaxing.
