Going crazy waiting on Oncotype score

I was the same, I think it's the lack of control, I've felt this on & off all through my treatment when waiting for test results, next surgery date etc etc

It took about 4 weeks in the end x

Yes that’s true I suppose the waits are the new normals now xx 

Did you have a predict score first then request Oncotype? Was wondering how predict compared to Oncotype results ? 

Just had oncotype test which was low, so no chemo recommend, although I have now discovered 6 MTHS along the process that I am at high risk of recurrence as 9 cm tumor.....was a shock as the surgeon & oncologist hadn't said a word about it 

Oh my gosh how did they not mention the high risk that’s so not ok , did you find out from other sources? Or your own research this is crazy for you I’m sorry you are going through this as 6 months on I thought you could have been relaxing by now x 

I read old threads on here and Oncotype scores seem to be mostly lower than higher they told me under 26 would not require chemo x

It was when my oncologist recommend abemaciclib, I looked into it & saw mention of it being for high risk paitents......& Then joined the dots up. I was upset & shocked they hadn't told me as thought I was on my way after radiotherapy. I have asked for an explanation of why I wasn't told, awaiting a reply, but know it doesnt change anything really 

Starting on abemaciclib tomorrow & zoledrinic acid shortly x

I wonder how they get to the score that means you don’t need chemo. I was told under 18 would not require chemo. Maybe it’s because I had quite a large area that had to be removed! Anyone know?

Right I understand I’m same read and try and work things out did you have radiotherapy? I was told 10 yeasts tablets injections radiotherapy and ?? Chemo x you have done the right thing though as to why they didn’t explain this to you x
