Hi all,
A friend of mine found a lump and was referred to the breast clinic. She went to her appointment on Monday 7th August, nothing showed up on the Mammogram, they did an ultrasound and 3 biopsies. She then had a meeting with the doctor who told her that the is no cancer and that's its nothing sinister. They said she has prominent glandular tissue.
She received a letter last week to go back to the hospital in September. But then this morning she received a phonecall from the hospital saying she needs to go to see them this Monday.
Do you think this urgency now means that there is something more sinister than originally thought?
I am a survivor, diagnosed in March 2022, op in April and Radiotherapy in June, now on Tamoxifen for 10 years and Zoladex every 28days for 5 years, so I know what it's like to get the call back.
Anyone been through similar?
Sazzy
Hi Army,
Thanks for your reply.
My friend received a letter today, stating that there is no evidence of Cancer and that she has PASH and that they want to reassess her, so hopefully all is OK.
Hope your recovery is going OK. I've recently started back at work 3 days a week, but find myself getting tired easily.
I turned 40 in January, found the lump in Feb and got my results in March...... not the 40th year I had hoped for ha ha
X
